Li Zongwei had his first training after the Spring Festival that day. After training, he told the media that it is still important to restore muscles. On that day, he trained at the venue for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, and then trained at the gym for 1 hour. Everything was normal.

“Maybe I can return to normal physical function level in another one to two weeks, which is the most important thing for me.” He said.

Huang Zonghan, coach Director of the Malaysian badminton association, said recently that the Badminton Association would sign up for Li Zongwei to participate in the Malaysian badminton Open held in early April before the deadline of February 19, the national team also prepared Li Zongwei to resume comprehensive training.

In this regard, Li Zongwei said on the 11th that he would receive a doctor’s examination next month, listen to his opinions on conducting comprehensive training, and then try to participate in the Malaysian Open. “I have to pressurize myself slowly. When the doctor gives the green light, I will conduct comprehensive training.” He said.

Li Zongwei defeated taotian xiandou, the Japanese player who ranked first in the world men’s singles in the final of last year’s Malaysian Open, and won the championship for the 12th time. But he soon found out that he had nasal cancer and received treatment. He didn’t begin to resume training until the end of last year.
