Chinese women’s potential will break the world record for the first time and will continue to impact the world championships and the World Cup.

Chinese girl Lu Wenzhao created a new world record of 83 meters in the women’s constant counterweight webbed double webbed project and won the championship of total score.

Xinhua News Agency, Manila, June 12 (reporter Zheng Xin Xia Peng) at the 2019 free diving Asian Cup held in the Philippines on June 9-11, chinese girl Lu Wenzhao created a new world record of 83 meters in the women’s constant counterweight webbed double webbed project and won the championship of total score.

On the evening of 12th, she told the reporter before leaving the competition place that the superior diving environment in Philippines provided conditions for her to set a record, although this record was later refreshed by other players, but this still gave her confidence to continue to impact this year’s World Championships and World Cup champions.

As the annual Asian Cup for free diving, it was held in bonlao Island, a diving resort in the central Philippines this year, attracting more than 70 top players from nearly 20 countries and regions.

In the women’s constant counterweight webbed double webbed project on the first day of the competition, Changzhou girl Lu Wenyi dived to 83 meters at 3 minutes 6 seconds, with a slight advantage, the original world record of 82 meters maintained by the Japanese player Muxia yarn Youli was broken.

In the following two days of competition, Lu Wenyi performed stably in both the pansheng stitch diving and the constant counterweight without webbed. The total number of three points ranked first, becoming the women’s total score champion in this competition.

A little regretful is that her world record on the women’s constant counterweight webbed double webbed project was soon broken by the Slovenian female diving arenka atnick, the diving ring legend scored 92 meters.

In spite of this, Lu Wenzhao expressed satisfaction with his short-term world record and his final championship. She said frankly that this year’s Asian Cup was the most intense competition since she failed to challenge the world record in 2018. “For this competition, I have conducted special training both physically and mentally and have greatly improved, which makes me better adjust my state in the competition.”

When talking about the experience of this competition, Lu Wenyi said bluntly that he was “impressed”. “The banglao island, which held this competition, is very suitable for diving in terms of water temperature, water flow and water depth. In addition to competitive competitions, there are also many diving training institutions for ordinary tourists in the local area. Generally speaking, this is an important stronghold for diving in Asia.”

“I am very much looking forward to returning to the Philippines in 2020 to participate in more high-level diving competitions.” She added.

Lu Wenzhen said that the Asian Cup was the first important event she participated in this year, and then she would also compete in the free diving World Championship held in Honduras and the free diving World Cup held in France. “At present, I mainly exercise upper limb muscle strength and anaerobic tolerance, hoping to hit a new world record in the pansheng stitch diving project that I am better.”

At present, Lu Wenzhen maintains a national record of 6 of the 8 small items of Chinese women’s free diving project. In the women’s individual all-around ranking published by the International Free Diving Association (AIDA), she temporarily ranked fourth with a total score of 199 in the case that she did not participate in a single item this year.
