Facing the tide of ice and snow sports enthusiasm all over the country, Ding Dong, executive deputy director of the Winter Sports Management Center of the State General Administration of Sports, was also quite emotional. Ding Dong is very optimistic about the development of ice and snow sports, but sometimes he will still be shocked by the public’s enthusiasm for ice and snow sports, for example, the first China Ice and Snow Conference was also held in December 2018.
Although this conference is only the first, although the duration is only three days and the preparation time is only three months, the effect of the event still greatly exceeds the expectations of the organizers. According to the expectation before the start of the conference, there can be up to 8,000 people per day, but more than 14000 people came on the first day of the event, and the passenger flow in the next two days increased. It is understood that, this is the highest traffic in similar exhibitions in North exhibition.
“The ice and snow conference will certainly continue to be held in the future. There will be another conference next year, and it will also be exhibited nationwide, which will be better than this year. We want to make a never-ending Ice and Snow Conference.” Ding Dong said.
The China Ice and Snow Conference held in Beijing is not an isolated case. From the western border to the eastern coast, from Saibei to Jiangnan, the cold winter is gradually boiling up due to the enthusiasm of ice and snow sports.
In Altay, Xinjiang, physical education classes in primary and secondary schools were “moved” to ski resorts. Since the winter of the local general Mountain ski resort, more than 1,000 primary and secondary school students have been welcomed every day, from November 2018 to March 2019, more than 9,000 students from five primary and secondary schools in Altay city will receive professional ski training in ski resorts……
In the northeast, the national mass winter sports popularization campaign in 2019 sponsored by the State Sports General Administration was launched in Hulan Estuary Wetland Park, Harbin city, Heilongjiang province. More than 400 sports enthusiasts for the disabled, sports fitness instructors for the disabled, disabled volunteers and special education school workers participate in ice and snow fitness exercise……
