Xuzhou is the hometown of martial arts. Martial arts culture has a long history. In recent years, Xuzhou has made great efforts to build the image of a famous international martial arts cultural city, and the scale of this competition has also been expanding. In this competition, nearly 4,000 martial arts enthusiasts from 302 domestic teams and dozens of countries and regions including Russia, Germany, Brazil, Egypt, Japan and the United States signed up for the competition.
This competition project covers a wide range of categories, including single practice of prescribed routines, self-selected routines, traditional routines, Chinese wushu Dan system prescribed routines, and five steps of Tai Chi eight methods, confrontation and collective projects, etc. At the opening ceremony on the 24th, the artistic performances that combined the spirit of Han culture and martial arts were brilliant, which made many athletes, especially foreign athletes, feast their eyes.
Foreign students studying in China have become the main force for foreign players to participate in the competition. They not only play well in all kinds of boxing methods, but also have their own Chinese names. Wu Hong from Brazil told the reporter that he is currently studying in Beijing and fell in love with Chinese martial arts since watching movies. Now he is very happy to have the opportunity to come to China and really learn martial arts.
