Xinhua News Agency, Shanghai, March 5 (reporter Li Rong) this year is the 16th F1 Chinese Grand Prix settled in Jiading, Shanghai, and the 1000th grand prix in F1 history. The reporter learned from the 2019 Shanghai Automobile Culture Festival, which opened on the 5th that this year’s F1 Chinese Grand Prix will be staged in Shanghai International Circuit on April 12-14.
It is understood that this Shanghai Automobile Culture Festival consists of four major sectors: Track Carnival, theme exhibition, cultural Travel Leisure and automobile business. Among them, the most important is F1 Chinese Grand Prix in the carnival section of the track. This will be the 1000th Grand Prix event in F1 history, which will bring together many well-known racing driver competition awards. It is estimated that there will be nearly 200000 domestic and foreign fans visiting the scene.
In 2004, F1 Grand Prix kicked off in China for the first time. Shanghai International Circuit, located in Jiading, became the only host of this competition, thus opening the prelude to the vigorous development of racing culture in China.
