The General Administration of Sports adjusted the standards of 20 projects including cold water jug and ski jumping according to the regulations on the management of athletes’ technical grades, adding snowmobiles, steel frame snowmobiles, the “standard” of 11 projects such as three-person basketball has been implemented since April 1.
The “standard” of three-person basketball stipulates the conditions such as the type and ranking of the competition to be met for the titles of international athletes, athletes and first-class athletes, such as the Olympic Games, four athletes from the first to four teams in the World Cup can be awarded the title of international athletes, including at least 12 teams in each small event in the national competition, “Entry” in the terms refers to the detailed rules such as registration and playing.

First of all, the standard will undoubtedly attract more people to join the three-person basketball team. “On the one hand, teenagers have a relatively large demand for first-level athletes and second-level athletes, and some colleges and universities have some corresponding requirements and policies.” He said, “On the other hand, for some professional team players, it is also difficult to win the title of master and iternationl master sportsman. Now this platform focuses on their future life, professional players in career planning also have certain attraction.”
He said that there is no provision that the five-person system and the three-person basketball can not be combined, but because there are many differences between the two projects in the rhythm of offensive and defensive conversion, they do not advocate both. However, there are also many five-person project team members who set a precedent for good performance after adapting to the three-to-three play.
In addition, the launch of the standard also means more responsibilities. “In the past, some problems of falsification and imposter appeared when some other projects evaluated the second-level and first-level athletes. In the past two years, we have done a lot of digital work for three-person basketball. Including Challenge competition, they all signed up online. After verification by insurance companies, they checked their ID cards before the start of the competition and filed all the players’ first rackets, every player has his own technical statistics. The future evaluation will also be based on the playing time and contribution to the team.” He said, “the Chinese Basketball Association is building a big data system, which will also involve the management of the data of the three-person basketball game. Next, we need to refine the program measures to minimize the risks.”
