Yuyi network Luoyang, May 29thThe 2019 National Track and Field Grand Prix (Luoyang Railway station) will be held on May 29-31 at the new District Sports Center Stadium in Luoyang, ancient capital.
The National Track and Field Grand Prix is one of the national events with the highest specifications of track and field events in China. Luoyang Railway Station is the fourth stop of this year’s National Track and Field Grand Prix, with 2024 participants from 36 teams from various provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, PLA, industry sports associations and sports colleges. Among them, most national team athletes will participate in this competition. Competition events include 23 men’s, 24 women’s and 4x 400 mixed relayrace for men and women.
This event is the first time Luoyang city has hosted the National Track and Field Grand Prix. All departments attach great importance to it, actively prepare, arrange deployment and wait for it. At present, the responsibilities of each department have been clearly defined: competition equipment, the electronic timing and scoring system has been put in place, the functional rooms required for the competition have been equipped, the internal equipment and facilities are basically in place, and the reception hotel, pick-up vehicles and the layout inside and outside the venue have been arranged in place. Medical treatment, transportation, security, volunteer service and other work are also being carried out in an orderly manner. I hope to use this event as a platform to show the features of Luoyang “The Chinese Outstanding Tourism City”, “National Garden City”, “National Health City” and “national civilized city” to high-level coaches and athletes across the country.
Luoyang Sports Bureau fully implements the concept of “sports benefit the people”, so that Luoyang people can also watch the competition at home. During the competition, 40000 spectators in the stadium were open to the public free of charge.
