According to Jiang Zhaoyin, at present, more than 300,000 people participate in various navigation model activities every year in China, and nearly 1,000 people participate in national navigation model competitions, among them, there are about 80 players who have reached the level of participating in the world navigation model championship.

Now Jia Yilin is a sophomore majoring in architectural management at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia. She said that the professional choice stems from her love for models, the drawing reading ability and rigorous thinking habit cultivated by making models can greatly promote the engineering quantity calculation and architectural planning ability required by the major studied.
“I am still making models in my spare time. This hobby gives me a more comprehensive understanding of architecture.” Jia Yilin said that he hoped to work in architecture in the future and extend the interest cultivated in model making to the professional field.
