China Track and Field Association held three meetings of the ninth Congress in Beijing. The participants voted to pass the constitution of China Track and Field Association (2019 revision) and the adjustment of the association in the New Year. According to the new constitution, the 9th Executive Committee of China Track and Field Association was elected, among them, the coaches represented Sun Haiping, Zhang Fuxin, and the athletes represented Su Bingtian and Qu Liyi as members of the executive committee.
Unlike the Chinese Basketball Association, which is chaired by Yao Ming, the Chinese Fencing Association has Wang Haibin, and the Chinese Judo Association has cases such as Luo Dongmei. The Chinese Tian Association is not so “professional”, there is no professional athlete with a star level to hold important positions. Su Bingtian is now the “Golden signboard” of China’s track and field field industry, and is also the most influential track and field athlete after Liu Xiang. Therefore, it is also a matter of course to be put into various positions by field associations at all levels.
