Yu Dongfeng, head coach of the Chinese women’s football team, said that the team had been training in Dalian for more than ten days before, but “only one day is complete” because college students have to take exams, participate in competitions or graduation ceremonies on behalf of the school. He believes that this situation will have an impact on the team’s performance in this big summer meeting, but the team will do its best to play well.
The opponents of the Chinese team in the group match are Mexico and Russia. Since the understanding of the opponents mainly comes from the last game, Yu Dongfeng positioned the game as “encounter”. He also said that the Mexican team had more short passes and the Chinese team made corresponding preparations.
20 team members come from 7 colleges and universities. They are selected from more than 80 people recommended by each school. How to knead them into a whole? The summer festival will be held in Italy in July 3-14, with 18 major events. It is expected that 12000 athletes and officials from 120 countries and regions will participate. The Chinese delegation will participate in 144 competitions in 14 major events, with a delegation size of about 360 people, including 198 athletes from 66 colleges and universities in 21 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.
