Sun Run Beijing station

IAAFRun24:1 Sun Run is a public welfare running activity jointly organized by IAAF and 24 important Member organizations around the world. The running distance is 1 mile, about 1.609 kilometers.

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, June 2 (reporter Xia Zilin, Wang Yong) the second IAAFRun24:1 Sun Run (Beijing railway station) started at Panda Square of the National Olympic Sports Center on the morning of the 2nd. Zou Zhenxian, the image ambassador of “Sun Run”, the famous Chinese triple jump general, and Wang Liping, the champion of Sydney Olympic Games, jointly fired shots for the event.

IAAFRun24:1 Sun Run is a public welfare running activity jointly organized by IAAF and 24 important Member organizations around the world. The running distance is 1 mile, about 1.609 kilometers. The theme of the activity is to promote running and fitness, aiming at enabling more people to participate in more fitness activities through running to achieve the goal of health. This “Sun Run” also shows the charm of running in the form of global webcast.

In the activity of that day, nearly 1,000 runners, including mass runners, Capital Media running groups and Chinese Academy of Sciences running groups, stepped onto the runway, including young runners under 16 years old, there are also 60-year-old runners. All runners finished the race successfully.

It is reported that this event was initiated by IAAF, supported by China Tian Union National Olympic Sports Center, and jointly operated by Beijing Olympic economic Technology Development Company and Beijing control Sports Technology Co., Ltd.
