after finishing a group of high-frequency leg kick training on yoga ball, ye Shiwen grinned, rubbed his legs, sour!
The Sunshine in the afternoon hit her fair face through the glass of the strength training room, and the huge sweat was flowing along her cheeks. Even if the muscles were swollen, Ye Shiwen would bite his teeth and insist on completing every set of exercises. She said that the aerobic accumulation on the plateau made herself “very solid”.
Ye Shiwen followed Xu Guoyi coaching team in Kunming Haidao training base for nearly 6 weeks. On February 1st, she will end this winter training and go home for the Spring Festival. “During the Spring Festival, I will go to grandma’s house and have dinner with my family.” For the coming holiday, Ye Shiwen is full of expectation.
The 12 training classes in the plateau are monotonous and boring every week. There are not only hard strength training on land, but also 6000 meters of water training every day. Ye Shiwen was very satisfied with the effect of this winter training. “through the measurement, I have grown muscle, which shows that the 6-week plateau training is very effective.” Ye Shiwen smiled, “but in the last week, I felt that I had insufficient electricity in all aspects of my body.”
When it comes to the changes after changing the breaststroke, Ye Shiwen said frankly that he seemed to be “activated”: “It is very exciting for me to try the fresh swimming style, however, it may not be that breaststroke was the main item before, so I lacked experience in the competition, especially when I turned around, my strength and skills needed to be improved.”
As for the target of 2019, small Leaf said that the top priority is to stabilize the 200 mixed 200 frogs in the national championship in March. “I took part in the short Pool World Championship soon after I resumed training last year. Now I want to test my strength in Changchi and hope to get good results.”
In 2018, in order to prepare for the short Pool World Championship, Ye Shiwen suspended his studies in Tsinghua University and began to return to the team to follow Xu Guoyi’s coach for training. “I am a person who can’t use his heart and soul. If both sides of study and training can’t do well, I ‘d better focus on swimming first. After all, my goal is the Olympics.”
When it comes to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Ye Shiwen’s eyes began to shine. “I think there will still be miracles in the Olympic Games.” She said, “I feel that my whole mentality, including the mentality of facing training and competition, is different. I used to give myself a lot of baggage, but now I totally enjoy it.”
Ye Shiwen described himself as building blocks, and now he has stabilized the base, “I think I will be more and more solid.” Small leaf smiled confidently.
