This conference coincides with the semi-final time of the King’s Cup between Real Madrid and Barcelona on the 27th, and the number of video referee cameras used in this focus battle also set a record for Spanish football matches-32, usually 22 video referee cameras are used in La Liga and King’s Cup competitions.

Spain Telecom Group and syat automobile jointly demonstrated 5G cars at the conference on the 26th. The car can be positioned relative to bicycles with 5G terminals through Internet of Things technology, and rely on auxiliary driving technology to ensure the safety of bicycles.

“In addition to ensuring the safety of riders, 5G technology also brings broad imagination space for cycling.” Portro, project manager of telecom group, told Xinhua News Agency, “for example, we can install 5G terminals for all bicycles in cycling events to let the audience know the position of each player in the team at any time, master the precise movement of the team.”

John Hoffman, CEO of the global association of mobile communication systems, said that new technologies such as 5G and immersive reality can be widely used in the sports field.
