Xinhua News Agency, Yinchuan, April 19 (reporter Yu Yao, Li Hao) the 3-day 2011 Shizuishan International Kite Festival in Ningxia, China will open on May 4, when there will be from the United States, Germany, Russia, more than 200 athletes from 20 countries including South Korea and 20 provinces and cities in China participated.
It is understood that this international kite festival is rich in content, including traditional kite competitions such as Dragon String type, board string type and luminous, as well as double-line sports kite group ballet competition and four-line sports kite group competition, there is also a special kite show.
The Kite Festival is hosted by the International Kite Federation, Shizuishan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Shizuishan municipal people’s government. Many athletes participating in the competition are the prize winner of kite competitions at home and abroad in recent years.
