These cultural relics were collected by the Chengdu Institute of Physical Education Museum, selected from Sichuan Museum and University of Electronic Science and Technology Museum.
Chengdu Institute of Physical Education Museum is one of the few museums in China with the theme of Chinese ancient sports culture. It opened in July, 2011. Through various technical means, show and reflect the overall appearance and unique charm of Chinese ancient sports.
Zhang Lingling, deputy secretary of the party general branch of the department of history and culture of Chengdu Institute of Physical Education, is one of the main planners and executors of the activity of “Chinese ancient sports relics entering the campus”. Tianjin Sports Museum is the only municipal sports museum in Tianjin. It has set up three exhibition areas: “Tianjin and Olympics” special exhibition, Olympic Collection Expo and Sports Interaction. It has collections, more than 4000 pieces of cultural relics.

In March 2018, the ITTF Museum and the Chinese Table Tennis Museum (hereinafter referred to as “the museum”) officially opened on the banks of Huangpu River in Shanghai. The former ITTF Museum is located in Lausanne, Switzerland. On the 17th, while the activity of “Chinese ancient sports relics entering the campus” was held, the “100-year Olympic poster exhibition” was held in Chengdu Institute of Physical Education, the exhibition displays a set of (49 pieces) Olympic Games official limited edition 100-year Olympic posters donated by Samaranch Sports Development Foundation to the school.
It is reported that this set of posters, which are currently treasured in the Museum of Chengdu Institute of Physical Education, contains posters of previous Olympic Games since the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, it combines the Olympic spirit and culture and art of each era, reflecting the development process of the 100-year Olympic Games and the unique cultural atmosphere of dozens of Olympic host cities around the world.
